From cute Sylvac bunnies to colourful porcelain eggs, this luncheon table was the ultimate, immersive Easter hunt. 

One could almost imagine Beatrix Potter’s Peter Rabbit popping his head up amongst a mound of springtime objects adorning our Easter table, set perfectly for lunch. 
This beautiful spread of dainty things had no rhyme or reason to be there, except for the fact that they evoked a sense of printemps, lightness, joy and springtide colours. All that was needed was the sound of Vivaldi’s ‘Spring’ from the ‘Four Seasons’ and complete immersion took over. And no Easter table would be complete without a tonne of beauty found only in the blooms of Stocks, Sweet Peas, Delphiniums and Garden Roses in all colours. It was a luxury event planners dream. 
To transform the tablescape into an unforgettable masterpiece fit for a luxurious luncheon, we collaborated with the renowned luxury furniture and tableware supplier, Options Greathire. Their exceptional offerings became our canvas, starting with their exquisite Willow dining tables in a soft, sage hue, a sophisticated base that perfectly complemented the spring aesthetic. To elevate the setting even further, we chose their stunning Chandelle chairs in plush pink velvet, a combination of comfort and opulence that added a tactile sense of indulgence.

The real magic, however, lay in the details. Options Greathire's extensive collection is nothing short of an Aladdin's Cave of treasures, yet we curated the very best to suit our vision. We selected elegant plum-hued glasses that shimmered like jewels under the light, paired with Mother of Pearl cutlery; each piece an artwork in its own right. The Dentelle China brought an air of refined sophistication with its intricate lace-like patterns, finishing the table with a timeless elegance. Together, these elements seamlessly blended to craft a tablescape that not only embodied the spirit of Easter but also redefined the art of entertaining. The result was a setting that felt both aspirational and approachable, a harmonious fusion of luxury and creative vision.

Easter Elegance at Lunch

Our Easter table was a joyful collection of objects brought together to tell a story, referencing nursery rhymes, iconography typically associated with Easter such as bunny rabbits, ducklings and eggs, as well as the concept of growth and new life. This enchanting spread of dainty treasures seemed to exist purely for the joy of the moment, a tableau without logic but overflowing with the essence of springtime; printemps in its most poetic form. 

Every detail exuded a delicate charm: soft pastels, joyful textures, and the air of lightness that whispers of warmer days. It felt as if Vivaldi’s “Spring” from The Four Seasons had materialised into something tangible, wrapping the senses in its bright, playful melodies. And, of course, no Easter table could truly be complete without the glorious abundance of nature’s finest blooms: Stocks, Sweet Peas, Delphiniums, and Garden Roses, their colours spilling across the table like a painter’s palette. Together, they transformed the scene into a magical celebration of renewal, beauty, and the exuberant joy of spring.

Brief

There was no rigid brief, just a glorious sense of fluidity that made the project both exhilarating and challenging. This collaborative endeavour, involving some of the most creative minds in the industry, including Fi Burke from The Floral Editor, set out to redefine the traditional spring tablescape. Our mission? To curate an immersive masterpiece using everyday items, antiques salvaged from charity shops and flea markets, and forgotten treasures unearthed from the depths of neglected cupboards. The goal was clear: to prove that creativity is not tethered to expense. With a dash of imagination, a pinch of resourcefulness, and an open mind, even the humblest of objects can be transformed into a visual symphony. 

What We Did ...

The result? A breathtaking tablescape that radiated elegance and creativity, dazzling like a million-dollar production yet executed with the humility of a shoestring budget. Every inch of the design was a celebration of ingenuity, proving that true artistry lies not in opulence, but in resourcefulness and vision. Vintage candlesticks reclaimed their place as centrepieces, mismatched teacups from flea markets whispered tales of bygone eras, and forgotten trinkets unearthed from dusty cupboards gleamed with renewed purpose. 

Old, bronze swans, vintage books with spectacular-designed internal pages and painted music boxes, were placed along the table to add an artistic charm. The beauty was not only in the objects themselves but in the harmony they created - a timeless charm that transformed the ordinary into the extraordinary. It was a living testament to the magic of reimagining and repurposing, where every item carried a story, and the entire setting sang a symphony of reinvention and possibility; the very spirit of what Easter means.
